International Cataract and Refractive Conference at Shanghai, China
Dr Jeevan Ladi, Eye Surgeon from Pune was invited for the international conference at Shanghai. He
talked on “Bladeless Cataract Surgery” and “Bladeless ReLEx SMILE” used to correct spectacle
number like Myopia or short sightedness. The faculty and delegates came from all over the world for
the conference. It was Asia Pacific Conference for advanced technologies benefitting population all
over world.

Dr Jeevan Ladi presented his self-developed Technique “SAFE” used for ReLEx SMILE procedure. This
technique minimizes time required for the procedure with fast recovery of vision. This helps person
to get back to work and routine earlier with sharp vision. ReLEx SMILE is done for independence
from glasses with better field and quality of vision. The new technique was well appreciated by
attending delegates.
