CustomVue: Also
known as Wavefront Guided LASIK. It not only treats spectacle
number to achieve 6/6 vision but also improves quality
and contrast of vision by removing higher order aberrations.
This overall increases chances of achieving better than
6/6 or 20/20 vision.
Iris
Registration: Unique identification
marks for human beings are 1. Thumb impression. 2.
Retinal mapping. 3. Iris (circle around the pupil
which gives colour to the eye like brown, blue, green
etc.) mapping. Eyeball rotates from sitting to lying
down position. This also shifts your cylindrical
axis and location of higher order aberrations. Due
to iris registration this shift is recognized and
treated accurately.
Pupil
Centroid Shift Compensation: Pupillary
constriction is not concentric but it moves towards
the nose and upwards. This is also detected by the
CustomVue software and improves efficacy of treatment
